Haryana Chief MinisterManohar Lal, who was presiding over the programme, said that the shalokas recited by 18,016 students during the Global Gita Chanting Programme would show a new path to the entire world.

He said that 18 shalokas from 18 chapters of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita were recited simultaneously in 40 countries during the programme. Apart from this, 108 Brahmins also recited the ‘Gita Path’ at Jyotisar.
