Looks like the teaser of Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film Mersal is on a record-breaking spree. After creating an all India record by becoming the fastest teaser to cross the mark of 10 million views on social media, Mersal teaser has created yet another all India record.
On Wednesday, the action-packed teaser has clocked the coveted 25 million views to become the fastest Indian film teaser to do so. It’s a remarkable feat considering that Mersal teaser took two weeks to set this new record. The one-minute and the fifteen-second long teaser is on the way to clock 10 lakh likes as well to become world’s first film teaser to do so.

Directed by Atlee, Mersal is said to be the 100th film of Sri Thenandal Films. Tipped to be an action-thriller, Mersal stars Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha and Nithy Menen in the female leads and is scheduled to release on the auspicious occasion of Diwali.
