Dehradun: Proposal to start rail service from Tanakpur-Delhi and Lal Kuan to south India has been sent by North Eastern Railway. Mr. Rajiv Aggrawal, General Manager, North Eastern Railway, who came to meet Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat at CM residence, gave this information to the Chief Minister. Chief Minister said that the expansion of railway in the state will promote tourism. For this, the state government will extend all possible support to the Railways. Chief Minister requested that timings of train coming from Kathgodam to Dehradun should be fixed as per the convenience of the passengers. On this occasion DRM Bareilly Mr. D.K. Singh was also present.
