Minority Scholarship Online Test Press Note

Sahayata Trust is arranging entire tuition fee for B Tech students belonging to minority community. The announcement came through a statement from the ‘Trust’ that said, “We will implement this initiative in collaboration with other government scholarships and Jahangirabad Institute of Technology located at Barabanki in Uttar Pradesh.”

According to Sahayata Trust CEO Syed Aneesuddin, “It has been decided to assist 100 minority girls and 50 minority boys. The beneficiaries will be selected through an online test.Test has 50 objective type questions from Intermediate syllabus and students can be taken from their homes. Girls need to have scored 65% and boys 85% in intermediate to make themselves eligible for the financial assistance.”

Interested candidates may visit www.jit.edu.in and click on “Sahayata Scholarship Online Test” for registration and test. This can be done online anytime from July 20, 2017, to August 25, 2017. The test is based on the intermediate syllabus of Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. “Our main aim is to provide quality education to minority students. We have selected Jahangirabad Institute of Technology which is located just 45 minutes’ drive from Lucknow, has great infrastructure, excellent environment, experienced faculty, well-equipped labs and good hostel facility,” Syed Aneesuddin said.

Aneesudin said that the enrollment of students belonging to minority community in higher education is quite low due to weak economic conditions and inaccessibility to good colleges.

Prof Khwaja M Rafi, Director, Jahangirabad Institute of Technology (JIT) has expressed happiness over tie-up with Sahayata Trust and hoped that this Noble cause would ensure educational upliftment of poor students belonging to minority community in the country.
