Hindi is not just a language but also a symbol of cultural heritage: KK Yadav

Lucknow: A programme was organized in Chief Postmaster General Office, Lucknow to mark the closing ceremony of Hindi Pakhwara. The programme started with the felicitation of Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, Lucknow (HQ) Region by Mr. RK Mishra, Assistant Director (Rajbhasha) who also outlined the details of various programmes held during the fortnight.

On this ocassion Director Postal Services,  Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, said that Hindi is our mother tongue and one should not connect it with Pakhwara only. He also highlighted the role of postal department in popularizing Hindi and said that using its vast network, postal department had united the nation and played an important role in implementation of Rajbhasha policies. Director Mr. Yadav further said that Hindi is not just a language but also a symbol of cultural heritage, which is uniting languages across the country and had played an important role in emotional unity and promotion of cultural diversity of the country. He addressed the officers and the employees and urged to encourage Hindi in government work whole heartedly so that the status of national language could reflect in true spirit.

winners of various competition were felicitated by  Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services on the ocassion. For Essay writing RK Tiwari, Suman Devi, Arpana Verma, for Hindi translation Rishabh Gupta, Minakshi Jaiswal, Sarika Awasthi, and for Essay writing in Officer class Rohitashva Bajpai and Archana Jha were awarded respectively with first, second and third prize.  The programme was conducted by Dr. JK Awasthi.
