New Delhi: Rescue teams of NDRF, ECL/BCCL, State Government & Experts have been continuously carrying out rescue work and unfortunately the casualties have increased from seven in the morning of 30.12.2016 to Sixteen by 5.30 PM today the 31.12.2016;
- Senior officials of DGMS, CIL, NCL, SECL and ECL are continuously monitoring the rescue operations;
- Magnetometers have been deployed for detecting buried metal bodies;
- Ministry of Coal has operationalized its control room in Shastri Bhavan ( Room No.321-A) to coordinate with the control rooms at CIL and ECL. The control room telephone no.is 23386867 and fax no. 23384417;
- ECL is in contact with the families of the deceased and all the necessary help is being extended to them.
