Dehradun: On the pretext of Swachhta Pakhwada initiated by Ministry of Humnan Resource Development, Himgiri Zee University organized the events of Cleanest Room and Elocution competition in their premise.
On The occasion Vice Chancellor of the university Prof. Rakesh Ranjan hailed the power of youth and said that youngsters in India can play a big role in the cleanliness of the country. He also appreciated the efforts of students in organizing the beautiful event.
Sugam from department of Forestry and Navdeep from Department of Mass Communication jointly won the first prize in elocution competition while Palak and Nili from department of Agriculture and Amit Tripathi from department of Hotel Management Won first prizes in Cleanest Room in Boys and Girls hostels respectively.
On the occasion all the senior faculty members of the university were present.
The programme was made successful by Sanjeev Kumar, Kailash Kandwal, Soniya Chamoli, Jaikrit Negi, Ankita Uniyal.
