The court is scheduled to pronounce the quantum sentence on January 3, 2018, for the guilty.
Merely a few days after former Bihar chief minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav was pronounced guilty in a fodder scam case, his younger son Tejashwi Yadav has now launched a scathing attack against the Opposition and said that they are “hugely mistaken.”

Earlier on December 23, the RJD leader alleged that the verdict depicts a conspiracy by the BJP and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to defame Lalu Yadav. He further said Lalu Prasad’s only fault was that he belongs to a backward class and fought against social injustice.

Fourteen others were also found guilty, while seven accused were acquitted, including former Bihar chief minister Jagannath Mishra. The court is scheduled to pronounce the quantum sentence on January 3, 2018, for the guilty.
