On MoS Dr Jitendra Singh’s directions, Pension workshop held for BSF personnel in Jammu

New Delhi: The Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW), Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Government of India has sent a team of officers today to conduct a special workshop for the Border Security Force (BSF) on Pensioners’ Portal at their Frontier Hqrs. in Jammu. The workshop was attended by more than 100 officials of all the Ranks of BSF.

In the workshop, the Bhavishya software which is a common mandatory platform for all the Central Government Employees for the purpose of processing pensions was discussed at length and pension dealing staff of the BSF were educated on the functionality of the system so that they can seamlessly process the pension of  BSF personnel.  The group was also educated on Digital Life Certificate and how the same can be digitally given from the comfort of one’s Home. Other areas of discussions pertain to schemes like ANUBHAV and SANKALP. The workshop was well received by the participants.

The MoS (PP) Dr Jitendra Singh in the review meeting of the Department of Pensions held recently had directed the Department officials to send a team of DoPPW to Jammu. He asked the Pensions Department to create awareness among the officials there about the Pensions and Bhavishya portal. In pursuance of that, this team of DoPPW officials visited Jammu today.

Shri N.N.N Dubey, DIG, Hqr BSF, New Delhi and Shri Hardeep Singh, DIG, Frontier BSF, Jammu were also part of this workshop.
