Minister of Railways Flags off Extension of Tirupati-Kalyandurg Passenger train service Up to Kadiri Devarapalli

New Delhi: Minister of Railways Shri Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu  inaugurated the Extension of Train No. 57477/57478 Tirupati – Kalyandurg Passenger Train up to Kadiri Devarapalli through video conferencing from Railway Board.

Minister of Civil Aviation Shri Ashok Gajapathi Raju Pusapati was specially present to grace the occasion. Chairman, Railway Board, Shri A. K. Mital, Member Traffic Railway Board Shri Mohd Jamshed and other Railway Board Members and senior officials will also be present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister of Railways Shri Suresh Prabhu said that a new line is constructed from Rayadurg-Tumkuru and  Kalyandurg to Kadiri Devarapalli section forms a part of this line. This Passenger Train will facilitate pilgrims travelling to Tirupati.

Indian Railways extended 57477/57478 Tirupati-Kalyandurg Passenger train service (Daily) upto Kadiri Devarapalli.The train is extended on new line from Kalyandurg to Kadiri Devarapalli (23 km) forming a part of Rayadurg-Tumkuru new line on South Western Railway.

The abstract schedule including timings, composition, stoppages etc. of the train service to be introduced is as under:
