Dr Dhan Singh Rawat inaugurate business technology leadership conference

Dehradun: Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, Uttarakhand Minister of State (Independent Charge) Co-operatives, Higher Education, Dairy Development & Protocol inaugurated the business technology leadership conference titled “When digital becomes Human” by lighting the ceremonial lamp that was organized by a hotel at New Delhi.

Dr Rawat said in his remarks said that Information and technology has played an important role in the field of education and the Technology is being adopted as per the need   in the field of education, business and other areas at mass scale. He said that such programs were necessary for science and technology and the country. He suggested the organisers to conduct such technology leadership programs in Uttarakhand.

Dr Rawat said that efforts are being made by the Uttarakhand government for the development of higher education. Education for all, quality education was the slogan of Uttarakhand government. He explained that educational calendar has been in the colleges and universities of Uttarakhand. He said that Uttarakhand is the land of the brave and a the Shaurya Wall is being built in colleges to motivate students and in addition to that smart classes and E-Library are being established in all colleges.

 He said that the government has also decided to give representation to the topper students from science/commerce and Arts in the Student Body of colleges. National Anthem has been made compulsory and dress code has been introduced in Higher education.  The Insurance of every student is being done under Pradhanmantri Beema Yojna. Uttarakhand Government has decided to organise three-day Gyan Kumbh at Haridwar.  Dr.Rawat said that   Information and technology will play an important role in higher education  for social and cultural upliftment of the youth.   (ends) (DIPR)
