Chief Minister redresses public grievances through video conferencing

Dehradun: Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat has directed the District Magistrates to ensure the disposal of the public complaints with seriousness and in time bound manner. While reviewing the redressal of the online complaints filed on the Samadhan Portal and the Toll Free No-1905 through the video conferencing in the Secretariat on Wednesday, Chief Minister said that the satisfaction of the complainant is ultimate solution of the problem. Chief Minister also talked to the complainants and asked for the information regarding the disposal of their complaints and took their feedback.

Through video conferencing, Chief Minister resolved various issues pending at the level of the District Magistrate, Head of the Department and government level. On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary Om Prakash, Radha Raturi, Principal Secretary Anand Bardhan, along with other senior officials and district level officers were present.

On the complaint of not receiving the scholarship by Vivek Kumar, Chief Minister has instructed the Social Welfare Department that the details of the scholarship distributed in the last five years should be prepared. While on the complaint of non-receipt of grant under the widow marriage by Sanjay Rawat, Chief Minister has instructed that list of all the cases of grants for widow marriage should be prepared. In this case, the assistance will be provided to all those who are left out. On the complaint of Mohan Sharma pertaining to food distribution, Chief Minister asked the Food Department officials to pay special attention on the quality of the food and food distribution. He also instructed them to regularly inspect the government ration shops.

On the complaint of Devendra Singh Rawat of Champawat of taxi unions not putting rate list on taxis, Chief Minister directed the officials of the Transport Department to ensure that rate list are put up on taxis. After registering a complaint on the Samadhan Portal, Vijaypal Tyagi of Dehradun expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for providing LPG connection under the state’s Ujjawala Yojana.

Arvind Kumar of Haridwar demanded compensation on the death of his pet animal on account of Animal Husbandry Department did not doing vaccination on time. Chief Minister instructed that the applicant should to provided proper assistance. Along with this, he instructed all the District Magistrates to ensure vaccination of animals. Orders were issued for initiating necessary action for providing benefit of Gaura Devi Yojana to Kumari Neelam of Tehri.

On the complaint of Piyush Joshi, Chief Minister directed the distribution of gas through the counter on Lalkuan Bottling Plant. Along with it, various problems including Sanjeev Kumar on cleaning of canal, Deep Chandra Joshi on funds for the construction of canal and Ajit Singh on online employment registration were addressed.
