CM Rawat message on World Disabled day

Dehradun: In his message on World Disabled Day, Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat has said that people with disabilities have achieved many milestones in different fields at the national and international level. He said that despite physical disabilities such people have made a place for themselves in the society. He further said that disabled people do not need sympathy but support. “ It is our duty that we should make them feel that they are an important part of the society and they also have all the rights like any normal person. They can also assist the nation by participating in elections,“ he said.

Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat said that the state government is committed to make the interests of disabled part of the mainstream society. He said that the state government has taken steps for the facilities of disabled to appear in various examinations conducted by selection agencies, making arrangements for disabled for making them sit on the ground floor for examinations in multi-storied buildings and making such examinations centres near railway stations and bus stands.
