New Delhi: The Central Information Commission will hold a seminar on “Human Resource Development and Right to Information Act 2005” here tomorrow on 09th August 2019. The Seminar is aimed at recommending measures for improvement in transparency and accountability with a view to improved governance in Human Resource Development, specific to education sector.
All present and former Chief Information Commissioners and Information Commissioners of the Central Information Commission, CICs and ICs from State Information Commissions as well as the first Appellate Authorities & Central Public Information Officers have been invited for the seminar. Some nominated NGOs working at ground level also been invited to participate in the Convention.
Well researched original presentations including case studies have invited from Academicians, practitioners, researchers. NGOs/civil society groups, students and other stakeholders. Presentations will focus on important aspects of the implementation of the Right to Information Act. 2005 in the education sector.
