6 skilled shooters from Shooting Champs Academy, Lucknow- INDIA participated in the IRS CUP 2022.The team consisted of 2 rifle shooters and 4 pistol shooters.
Mohd Anas Khan and Deekshanshu Sheel represented our country in 10m air rifle junior men. Manvendra Prasad and Kunwar Shardul Vikram Singh were in the 10m Air pistol senior men. Chhama Jalan presented India in the category of 10m Air pistol Senior Women and Anushree Jalan was in 10m Air Pistol Junior Women .
On day 1 Mohammad Anas Khan and Anushree Jalan bagged 2 gold medals for India with an excellent performance in the finals. The second day our atheletes once again proved their skills with Mohammad Anas Khan and Anushree Jalan winning another gold medal for India in their respective categories. Day 3, the last day, our shooters Mohammad Anas Khan and Anushree Jalan recieved put up a challenging game and won 2 more gold medals for our country and with a brilliant performance in the COC Mohammad Anas Khan won a Silver medal and Anushree Jalan won the bronze medal, making everyone pround. Coach Manvendra Prasad and Chhama Jalan secured a Gold medal in 10m sr. pistol mixed team category.
